God is Not the Author of Confusion

Ya’ll these words have presented themselves to me in so many ways this past week! I was led to write this blog post to not only help myself but hopefully help someone going through a confusing time in their life. God is a God of clarity and confusion comes from the enemy! Period!
Last Sunday I was venting to a friend and when I was finished, she simply stated “God is not the author of confusion. What you are going through right now is not of God and that’s a clear sign to keep it pushing!” It was all so clear and simple but not only that after that vent session the Lord kept sending me signs it was time get out of this confusing period. And these signs were loud and CLEAR that’s how I knew they were coming directly from him!
Here’s the thing the Lord does try to get our attention in very clear ways we just aren’t always receptive to hear from him and follow through! When you have that relationship with him you know when he’s trying to get your attention but being the flawed beautiful humans that we are we still follow our plan and not his!
God spoke to me through my friend, 2 different devotionals, a blog, and a YouTube video! Baby he knew just how to get my attention!! He reached me in the ways he knew I would listen and at that point I was like ok I hear you I know want needs to be done! Trust and believe getting out of your confusion will not be easy whatsoever. There are still times when I get extremely sad, but I just revert to all the reason I knew I needed to gain more clarity with God in the first place.
Know that when God removes something or someone from your life it’s because he has bigger and better plans for you! Staying in that confusing space is your way of telling God you don’t believe he can do better for you and your little plan is greater than his huge plan for your life.
If you are in this space right now, I just want to say a prayer for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you today and ask for your guidance! We ask for your strength to be able to see our worth and know that you are not the author of confusion or mess but instead you offer clarity! We know that that is a clear sign to move on to something far greater and we know whatever you have planned for our lives is way beyond our wildest dreams if we just put all our faith into you and know that you want what’s best for our lives whether it be a new career, new relationship, or even just removing certain people or situations out of our lives we know that everything will work out according to your purpose! So Lord please give us the faith and strength to follow your lead in all things and in Jesus name we pray!
Amen!
